Time to make it official

On our first full day in Las Vegas it was time to get some things done! The first step was to go to the Clark County Courthouse to get the marriage license. Luckily, Amanda, Jacob, and I got to do this step in style and took a limo. Our driver, Nelson, who is a photographer on the side was able to help document the event. This would be the certificate the officiant would sign and we would get a final copy mailed in ten days.

On our way back, we saw more of the sites in Las Vegas including the famous Gold & Silver Pawn Shop. One day I would like to visit it.

Next up, we had to hit up Men’s Wearhouse to retrieve our suits for the wedding. The staff there were very helpful and we were quickly in and out. The suits looked awesome on everyone and were a great choice.

We did a bit more exploring the afternoon. We got on the monorail and took a trip out to the Westgate Casino.

Inside the Westgate, we went to the Westgate Superbook which is apparently the largest sportsbook in the world.

I can definitely tell that this would be an awesome place to be during bigger sporting events. Before we left I played some slots and won $60, so not a bad trip overall.
