Leaving Las Vegas

I fully realize that the title is similar to a movie by the exact name, but they are nothing alike. Leaving Las Vegas was bittersweet for me. On the one hand, I just had the happiest moment in my life in Las Vegas – a moment I will never want to forget. On the other hand, we had been away from home for a while and it was time to get back. Las Vegas will always hold a special place in my heart and I plan on coming back many, many times to relive those memories, but home is home. Now that I am home, I can’t wait to visit Las Vegas. It will be an old friend for me.

One last snapshot of a Las Vegas morning before we were off. This really was an amazing view. I kind of took it for granted for the time we where there.

The Las Vegas airport is pretty cool. It has direct flights to Hawaii, which I hope to visit one day. Here is an Airbus A330 getting ready to depart.

Here is our plane back to CMH, Southwest Boeing 737-700 N445WN.

The trip was pretty uneventful which is always good for a flight. Here is a quick picture I took of it when we landed, in much colder Columbus.

I don’t know that one post will be enough to sum up that trip. I will say that those days were the happiest of my life and I hope to carry them with me forever. I can’t stop looking at pictures of the trip, even those I was not involved in, because I find that I cannot get enough. I hope that everyone that joined us had a great time because I want only positive thoughts to come from that trip. I can’t wait to go back to Las Vegas!
