San Francisco Trip October 2019

Last weekend, we took a quick trip out to San Francisco to see the Browns play the 49ers on Monday Night Football. The game did not go as hoped, but we did get to see some cool stuff while we were out there.

We drove over the Golden Gate Bridge this time. Last time we walked over it.

We also drove around downtown San Francisco and over the Bay Bridge before getting some lunch at In-N-Out. Since it was a Sunday, we watched some NFL football.

For dinner, we tried out a nice Mexican restaurant called Vive Sol. The food was great, a recommended place to eat if you are in Sunnyvale.

After dinner we took a brief trip over to see the Google Campus. I had never been in the south part of the Bay Area in Silicon Valley so it was awesome to see these places. The sun was going down and it was getting dark so we didn’t spend a ton of time here.

The next day we ate at a cute diner called the Black Bear Diner. The portions were huge and the food was really good.

After breakfast, we made a trip over to see the Apple Campus and the Spaceship building. They had a visitor center and you could take a VR tour of their campus. Then you could go upstairs and take some pictures from across the street. It seems like an awesome place to get to work.

Then it was finally time to go see the game – the whole reason we came out to the Bay Area. Here is Levi’s Stadium which was a very nice stadium. It had great views and was a great atmosphere. It is too bad the Browns didn’t show up and got humiliated quickly.

For a late dinner we did PF Changs and then it was time to get to sleep since we had an early flight home. Overall a great trip even if it was quick. I felt like we fit a lot in the short time we were there. Hopefully we will make it back out there before too soon.
